WAVX is not short sighted, this is just one of MANY MAJOR directions they are developing. It just happens to be the first were hearing about.

I don't know the details of the deal or the time frame, but I do know one of the sources (a newly formed syndicate at an investment bank) of the 23 Mill and was assured that the deal would be very broad in scope and a major milestone for WAVX

Also, the first revenue generating embassy products are very close to market

Ideas of incorporating Wave Systems Technology into SMART CARDS were raised by yours truly about 2 years ago...

Essentially, THE WAVEMETER is a microchip representing the same hardware encryption advantages soon to be offered by smart cards. As credit cards are usurped by smart cards, our metering technology will be compatibly utilized by smart card designers.
