It is either a person's laziness to do their own research, or the blatant attempt at either manipulation, inflammation, or other subversive attempts that spurs some of us to take the offender to task. We first challenge them to contribute in a constructive manner, and if they do, then they are welcomed and their opinions are sought out. If they don't, then we attempt to expose them for what they are! Only an idiot looks in one direction when traveling down a road. Well the same holds true here. We have to keep looking around to see what might be coming our way. Shutting down any opportunity to learn from others, no matter whether their views differ from ours, is foolhardy.
