****Yahoo Not Commenting On Broadcast.com Buy Report 03/31/99

Newsbytes, Wednesday, March 31, 1999 at 17:55

SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA, U.S.A., 1999 MAR 31 (NB) -- By Bob Woods,
Newsbytes. Even though one news wire claimed that Internet portal
concern Yahoo Inc. [NASDAQ:YHOO] will announce tomorrow that it has
entered into a $5.7 billion pact to buy Broadcast.com Inc.
[NASDAQ:BCST], Yahoo reportedly said late this afternoon that such
reports are based on rumors and speculation.

CNBC reported that Yahoo also said it would not comment on the Dow Jones
reports, which hit the wire after today's market close. But CNBC also
said late this afternoon that Yahoo had hired a freelance television
crew for a news conference to be held Thursday morning at 5:00 AM PST.

Calls to Yahoo, the portal company's public relations firm, and
Broadcast.com were not returned by Newsbytes' late edition deadline.
