IT appears that the IOI was suspended, that is why it was removed from the net, IT IS BACK ON THE NET !!

>>it is interesting that ETrade representatives were so inconsistent<<

Interesting? Isn't this always the case? You never know what the rules are - it all depends on who you talk to and when! I wonder sometimes if Etrade even has a set of rules.

I am also a Platinum customer. So far I am 0 for 3 on the ones I was able to get an IOI in before the cutoff. I won't mention all the ones that I tried to get in thru Etrade but couldn't get a chance to submit an IOI. Here are some observations, I noticed in my unsuccessful attempts:

1. The account alert (athough better than no notice at all), appears many times too late to submit IOI. I mean when I am logged onto Etrade and constantly changing or refreshing pages, see the account alert and immediately go and try to submit and it is too late.

2. The ones that I was able to submit an IOI was a direct result of timely posts on IPO Threads like this one. For instance my time stamp on IOI for VUSA was 5:41 pm EST because of monitoring this thread. At 5:54 pm EST the window was closed. At 5:57 pm EST the account alert posted to my screen, a full 16 minutes after i had completed the IOI.

3. I missed one IPO because I was constantly refreshing the IPO Center Bulletin screen rather than the Current Offering screen. It makes a difference which screen that is refreshed.

4.
When the IPO's IOI window is still open, navigation slows or sometime stops completely trying to make a submission. For instance, today I finally had to log off and re log onto Etrade, submit and resubmit several times to get my submission in (27 minutes)

Good luck to all,
4-Bob
