Actually, the state could well be subversive in terms of its own set of founding values, i.e., the entire system becomes an elaborate deception -- a lie. My values have nothing to do with it, other than I detest the oppressive deception and take issue with the casual intimations of some that it is preferable to entertain or, even worse, cower under the lie rather than lay it bare, and thus remove it. Oh, and there are plenty of absolutes about -- you just have to know where to look.
