nd could this be our James J Fiedler?

James J. Fiedler 540,000 7.2 0 175,000 175,000

owner of 2.6% of shares of CYOE...?

Mr. Fiedler, the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, loaned
the Company $250,000 in June 1997. The principal amount of the loan was
converted to common stock in conjunction with Mr. Fiedler's purchase of
Company common stock pursuant to the Regulation D private placement in July

Snip: loans to them...from the company!

On November 11, 1996 the Company loaned $300,000 to each of Messrs.
Fiedler and Latham. Messrs. Fiedler and Latham both executed unsecured
Promissory Notes due November 1, 1999 which provide interest at 6.07% per
annum compounded on the anniversary date and payable on November 1, 1999.
1997 (see Note 15 to the Consolidated Financial Statements.) Mr. Latham, the
Company's President and Chief Operating officer, loaned the Company $98,000
subsequent to March 31, 1997. This loan was repaid in July 1997. Mr.
Portner, a Director, purchased Company common stock pursuant to the
Regulation D private placement (see Note 15 to the Consolidated Financial
Statements).

Maxwell H. Gluck Foundation Makes $1 Million Grant to Fund Arts Outreach Program
The University of California, Riverside, has received a $1 million grant to continue an arts education program that brings music, theater, dance, creative writing, and visual arts to schools, hospitals, and other local locations through the year 2000. The Maxwell H. Gluck Foundation added the $1 million to a $350,000 grant it had awarded the university in 1996 to create the Gluck Fellows Program. "We reviewed what had been accomplished with the initial funds in the area of outreach to the community and we are extremely satisfied with the benefits to both students and community," said Dr. Jon Kaswick, president of the Gluck Foundation board of directors and an oncologist at Kaiser Permanente Urology Clinic in Los Angeles. The project is designed to bring arts to those without access, such as the elderly, disabled, and ill, and to schoolchildren whose arts education programs have been scaled back due to budget cuts. It also provides fellowships to students and faculty and enables them to perform in the community.
FCnote: The Maxwell H. Gluck Foundation (CA) had assets of $43,334,943 and made grants totaling $2,375,071 in the fiscal year ending 2/29/97.

Any connection between the John Fife on the list...and John Fife Symington...?? azcentral.com

arizonarepublic.com

About the only reference to "the Governor" was in the jury assembly room first thing in the morning, when Symington's attorney, John Dowd, introduced himself to the roomful of potential jurors and then turned to the defendant and introduced him as "John Fife Symington, governor of Arizona."
There is something unsettling about seeing the governor of Arizona sitting behind the table for the defense in a federal courtroom.

He looks smaller.

Less distinguished.

And - despite his best efforts to the contrary - a bit nervous.

Sitting in that courtroom, Symington looks like any other accused white-collar criminal.

He even has his old name back.

When a person is elected governor, you see, he gets a new name. His first name becomes "the" and his last name becomes "Governor." Fife Symington stopped being "Fife Symington" in early 1991 and became, instead, "the Governor."
