Oh man, they didn't pay the last auditor? That must have made the current one comfortable. I wonder if the current one is demanding payment up front before filing? That could slow things down indefinitely.

Btw, who was the last auditor?

the Company and its Shareholders have deemed the change of auditors to be an appropriate decision.

I wonder what the auditors they stiffed "deem" it to be.

And I wonder as well--please forgive me for doubting you, Mikey--if they've really found new accountants...

The SEC and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants with regards to conducting an audit and issuing an audit report do not deem the prior auditors independent.

Translation: We did the audit ourselves. When the SEC contacted us to alert us to our "oversight" of not giving the name of a firm, we gave them a bogus name. The SEC, not believing a word of it, asked the AICPA, who verified we had lied. Now we're desperately looking for someone dumb enough to work for us for worthless stock.

The penny stock market needs to be cleaned up. One could assume from this filing that the auditors were to blame instead of nonpaying management, who through their wisdom recognized this need for change. As if the auditors who are unpayed would continue with them anyways.
I look forward to the former auditors required filing... I expect the SEC will be notified of the need for this filing...and will look for it too.

Arcane, doesn't the company have to file more information regarding the switch and naming of auditors? What of releasing of prior notes and papers held by the former auditors? Will they transfer such papers, or is it so bad that the "new" auditors must start from ground zero?

ITEM 4. CHANGE IN REGISTRANT'S CERTIFYING ACCOUNTANT.
In February of 1999, Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc.
("the Company") decided to change auditors due to
the fact that the prior auditor is still due compensation
from the previous audit
and would lack independence.
The SEC and the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants with regards to conducting an audit and
issuing an audit report do not deem the prior auditors
independent. The Company's management and financial
direction
set for the Company and its Shareholders have
deemed the change of auditors to be an appropriate decision.

Will the company better explain the reasoning behind the financial direction...?
