FWIW

I normally don't post the abstract stuff...I'll make an exception in this case since we are all hurting a bit from the freefall weeks ago. One of the things I watch during times like this is the vol...how many shares were shaken during the initial fall and also during any followup sessions. This would include days like this week on Monday & Tuesday. Short and sweet...it's probable that it was not the institutions trading into CPU during the high vol days...they tend to stay away until things settle in a bit (that is if they even come back during the short term) anyway, houses have stepped in as far as I'm concerned...bracing it above $5 1/2. I never once thought CPU would break $5 and trigger margin calls, the houses have shaken into a lot of shares...maybe 60-70% of what has traded recently on the peak volume days (IMHO). For what it is worth, they usually set the stage for these comebacks and don't get caught holding the bag often. CPU was a darling on the big board before...with all these shares shaken into hopefully the right hands if you know what I mean and a little hard work from Halpin dresing things up forward from here...well, CPU may become a darling again. Problem is none of this happens overnight...good comments on the game thing Thurston...that's exactly what it is. Smart investor...remember when AOL was hated and traded at $25 (before splits)? Wasn't that long ago when the street played the game about AOL never making a dime off of $19.99 surf all night long...who do you think was buying all those AOL shares during that time...it's AOL's glory days now, same as BBY...the game will change as it always does. Sure a maybe 5% chance exists that CPU goes under but the same existed and still exists for 9 out of every 10 stocks traded...market environments change...good thing is 95% says CPU will be here in 2,3,4,5 years and this is a wise play for a longer term perpective and offers gains by scalping a pt. here and there over the next 1-2 years by trading xtra shares in and out after 2,3,4 pt. surges.

Just some abstract thoughts friends...gotta go watch the tube with the wife now. Sorry about the length and the single paragraph...in a hurry.

Best wishes to the longs,
Rich
