ASHW.

Ron,

I'm not holding ASHW right now but still have it on my quote screen. I stared at my computer in disbelief today when I saw it at 3 1/8. It's just amazing that the stock has been beaten down that low when you consider their book value, assets, and liabilities. I think some folks are throwing in the towel on the stock and like you say, this could be the bottom. It didn't stay near 3 1/8 very long and closed near the high. This is also a good sign. I'm not sure if it means much with a stock in this price range, but it traded below the lower daily bollinger band today and closed back above it. This is generally a good pattern to buy on but I'm not sure how reliable the signal is on a stock trading below $4. On the cautionary side, the stock hasn't formed a base and didn't have big volume today that would normally accompany a blow off bottom. I think it will run into resistance between 3 3/4 and 4 for the time being.

For a short term trade, I'd be looking for 1/4 to 3/8, which is a very respectable profit for a $4 stock. For a longer term hold, I think you just have to have faith in the brand name and believe that management will correct their inventory problems. I read on Yahoo that retailers are having trouble getting the right kind of merchandise in and are still trying to sell old shirts at 55% off. I don't know how much of that is true or how widespread it is but it's worth checking out if you intend to invest in ASHW rather than trade it.

Good luck with it. I might buy some too, but if I do, it will only be for a trading attempt.

Dan
