Thanks for the insight. What type of stocks did you find this happening on?

Seems to me, that you could take advantage of that. Find a market maker that follows that pattern and buy when he buys and sell when he sells. Need to limit yourself to stocks with many market makers and recognize the fact that you may miss opportunities due to a MM not filling your order.

Eric,

Thanks for your recent posts.

I work in a day job and have to use stop orders when
away from the market. I have seen many positions stopped
out only to see the stock move back up after nailing my stops.
Can the MM see my stops and play the stock down to my stop.
What is your advice on stops?
