Sandwedge...It depends on your time stamp when you got your IOI submitted. Check the ValueAmerica board for when the first people got their orders into Etrade. I also got into this one, but with a late stamp of 6:37. The offerring stayed open longer than usual to give the ValueAmerica customers that recently opened Etrade accts. possible first picks; this was also true of the Priceline IPO. I applied for ZDNet within 8 minutes of the opening, and still got shut out...[not a big loss; it only went up 25 pts.]. This sounds like I'm joking, but with a max. allotment of only 100 shares p/person, it takes a mighty big pop [like Priceline.com] to make it worthwhile.
I'm still holding FLC and RIG, and not feeling too nervous either. The $15 p/barrel comfort level of oil is going to stay for awhile and provide some more profits in the OS. Might take awhile, and even with 10-15% trading ranges, at least things are definitely better than with $11 oil. Will trade in & out, but holding 'em for now.
