Market magnets 4.5.99 Notes All indexes in the market magnets are on weekly BUY rating. I like to see confirmation (close this coming Friday with buy ratings in tact) but I am losing my trepidations here. Dow: Mids all down in middle ranges, could easily turn up or go down farther with little to no consequences. 9905 neutral zone still looks like an axis unless the 10135 utrend can be taken out. Nasdaq: Mids 2/3 up, 1/3 down: neutral. 4.14 is a mag tline crossover day. The cross occurs in the 2575 area. 2497 horizontal mag is being tested for the second time. A move up from here would leave no "baggage" behind. IOW blue skys would be smiling at nasdaq. SP500: Mids all down, similar to dow. 4.9 is tline crossover date. Was reported as 4.7 last week but I was wrong. Cross occurs at 1337 and is a cross of important tlines. Expecting a move up to that area this week. 1300 mag should be fully tested now, as with nasdaq a move up from here would not carry baggage. Nas 100: Mids all up. Looks good. Keep an eye on the 2089 uptrend.
