I heard a rumor from a friend of a friend that Broadcast.com is close to signing an exclusive agreement with QVC to broadcast home shopping over the internet 24x7. This would be great for both companies, as think of how many people have laptops and travel. While they are sitting in hotel rooms, they can buy gifts for their wives, or possibly a lawnmower.

Also, ad revenue is supposed to double when Broadcast.com announces that they are now going to market music from the soundtrack "Splash." Terry Bradshaw is going to make his musical comeback late this year.

Future Broadcast.com plans are also in the works. They are going to buy two more servers from Dell, and possibly another 56k connection into the network operations center. This would be a 2 fold increase in bandwidth and they will now be able to handle up to 700 more users at a time!

This one is a winner, and there is no stopping this freight train headed out of the station!
