Tokyo Nikkei up over 3% on hopes for fresh buying
TOKYO, April 1 (Reuters) - Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei stock average was up more than three percent in early afternoon trade on Thursday amid hopes that domestic investors would allocate fresh money to stocks on the first day of the new fiscal year, traders said.
