As the licensee of the assignee (U. of Wash.), MVIS would not appear on the patents. Following is from November 98 10-K:

"In 1993, the Company acquired an exclusive license (the "Exclusive License") to the Virtual Retinal Display(TM) technology ("VRD"(TM)) from the University of Washington and entered into a research agreement (the "Research Agreement") with the University of Washington to further develop the VRD technology."

Humbly report, Zeev, as soon as I received the e-mail response to your post I shot back asking if I may post it. So far no answer, and no answer so far means no sharing, in my book anyway.

Unlike some here, as I said before, I have a great deal of respect for you - as a market savvy investor, as a person that can evaluate a stock from the TA and FA points of view, and as one who knows infinitely more about scientific matters than I do. Been reading your stuff since 1996.

All that said, as soon as I saw your "I hope the quality of the rest of the work done at MVIS is better than the patent work, here is an example od sloppiness that may be costly in the future," I must admit I thought "I would not have put it that way."

Having read the e-mail response to your post, a quote comes to mind:

Son, you don't have to puke up the first thing that comes to your mind. --F. Daniel.

Cheers,

Svejk
