According to the Toronto Globe & Mail, AOL has BCE sniffing for a stake. After receiving $5.1-billion in his company's recent deal to sell a 20-per-cent stake to Ameritech Corp, BCE CEO Jean Monty sez he wants some Internet action.

"We're very interested in being the access provider to an AOL, or an Excite, or to all the other portals," said Monty. He went on to say that he thought the way to do that might with an equity stake. Steve? Meet Jean.

There is also an analysis of RNWK which some analysts think AOL should buy now that BCST is gone. Look at the price target for years end.
