Jenna - I feel dumb asking this question -- but here goes. I wanted to buy some options yesterday (for the first time), but stopped because I didn't understand my order choices. I found the symbol, the month and the price just fine -- but placing the order was a different story. I've been searching the net since then and can't find the answer -- only offers of subscriptions. Question: What are the definitions of: - Buy to Open - Buy to Close - Sell to Open - Sell to Close Thanks for any help on this! M
