Here is an article about the soldiers... I am very concerned about Russia becoming involved... sending ships, calling for military aid for Belgrade...

We are about to expand our air war to Belgrade... does not look good...saw an article somewhere tonight... an interview with Gorbachev on "The End of the Cold War". Fingers crossed, and praying...

U.S. 3-man patrol was taken along border of Macedonia

BRUSSELS, Belgium, April 1 — Serbian television showed pictures Thursday of men it said were three U.S. soldiers who disappeared near the Yugoslav-Macedonia border. There was no independent confirmation that Serbian officials had captured the men.Earlier, the White House said the situation would not deter its air war against Yugoslavia, which NATO announced would expand to possibly include the nation's capital, Belgrade, as a target.

From CNN... on Russian involvement... Following the failure of a mission by Russian Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov to end the NATO attacks, many Russian politicians are demanding Russia break an international arms embargo on Belgrade.

"We should announce to the entire world that we will provide military and technical aid to Yugoslavia in order to minimize civilian casualties there," said Alexander Lebed, the governor of the vast Siberian province of Krasnoyarsk.
