Ebay doesn't respect the privacy of its users, which is a problem. I just got an email from Ebay notifying us of changes to the user agreement. They say that if you explicitly refuse to comply with the new contract, you must email them and your bidding/selling privileges will be suspended indefinitely. The clause at the bottom of the revision says that basically they will share info about you with any third parties they see fit so that you can be targeted for promotions.
