It will be huge for DELL for the rest of 1999. By year 2000 , Jan 1st, 00:00:01 all 486 machines running with Win 3.1 will be thrown away due to year 2k . And all these 486 machines need to be replaced by the Intel based newer machine to run win98 loaded with office 2k and other application programs. All companies still running with old IBM main frame need to either upgrade to newer model of mainframe or just totally switch to PCs. Can you imagine how many 486 machines are still running in this world now, and their due date is year 2000, Jan 1st, 00:00:01. ad How many corp is still running with IBM main frame of old model ? So, this year, corp will buy a lot of pcs.
