Some e-commerce such as AMZN or AOL will buy it. I am just guessing here. As I can recall, you now can shop for almost anything on AOL, except looking to buy a car.

The future is very interesting.

AWEB may gap up and stay up this morning.

This is followup on my request I made back on monday? i forget when I made it.

I never got contacted by either dealer.

I just received a email from (name deleted) at autoweb.com with a survey for me to fill out:

here are the questions (I deleted parts due to privacy issues and the rampant suing that happens now days...):

Autoweb.com is committed to providing you with a comprehensive, hassle-free car buying process.
We regularly review our process and make revisions in order to meet your needs. With this in mind, we would like to ask you a few questions about your Autoweb.com experience.

- Were you contacted by Southern Volkswagen, Subaru and Oldsmobile within 24 hours of submitting your purchase request?

No I wasn't

- Were you given the information that you requested from our Member Dealer?

No I wasn't

- Were you quoted a firm price via email or over the phone?

No I wasn't

- Will you be purchasing your auto from an Autoweb.com Member Dealer?

I don't know. They never contacted me. But in this area they are the only ones so I guess I have to purchase thru them.

- How would you rate your overall experience with your Autoweb.com Member Dealer? 1 (poor) to 10 (excellent).

I cannot honestly answer this as I was never contacted by the dealer thus I have no experience to speak of.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to these questions. Please feel free to contact me if we can further assist you with your purchase.
