Disagree on both counts...

1. Big IT spend slowdown has affected a number of ERP players... SEBL is not immune.

Unlike ERP purchase decisions that require a great deal of IT funding and leadership, decisions on 'ERM' purchases are primarily driven by leaders in the business.

2. ERP vendors... will be going for CRM with a vengeance... So it gets tougher for SEBL.

In theory, this seems logical; however where's the beef? The ERP big dogs have been in this space for a while. They continue to prove that they can't execute here.

I agree that all of the current ERP malaise is impacting Siebel's stock right now. Given its very high valuation, just about anything could impact the stock in the short-term. Mid/long-term, however, I think SEBL's in the driver seat.
