Donovan Miller, LLC Announces Securities Class Action Filed On Behalf of Compaq Computer Corp. Stock Purchasers
Business Wire - March 31, 1999 15:31
PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 31, 1999--Donovan Miller, LLC announces that a class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas on behalf of purchasers of the common stock of Compaq Computer Corp. ("CPQ")(NYSE:CPQ) between Jan. 27, 1999 through Feb. 25, 1999 (the "Class Period").

The Complaint alleges that, during the Class Period, CPQ and certain of its officers and directors (collectively, the "Defendants") violated Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, by among other things, issuing materially false and misleading statements to the investing public regarding the Company's operations and financial condition.

It alleges that the violations of law caused the stock price of CPQ stock to be artificially inflated during the Class Period.

Plaintiff is represented by the law firm of Donovan Miller, LLC and others. The members of Donovan Miller, LLC have significant experience in litigating class actions on behalf of investors and shareholders. The firm maintains a website at dmlaw.com.

If you are a member of the class described above, you may move the court to serve as lead plaintiff within 60 days of March 12, 1999.

Baz: Well I coaxed a coherent and reasoned post from you. There is something in what you say about market psychology. Trouble is there are a lot of brainless groupies who think that positive market psychology creates earnings, rather than the other way around. The Cramer's of this world prey on them.
