(AOL now up $1 in Germany !!) According to business day on CNNfn, they have stated that the Yahoo - Broadcast merger will give a nice boost to internet stocks today. Futures are up 6 points at the moment; looks like a healthy opening !!

John: According to the Stock Traders' Almanac (can't remember the author's name at the moment), historically, the day before Good Friday has been the most consistently UP day of the year (measured by the Dow or S&P 500). Don't know why -- and with the activities in Kosovo, I wouldn't doubt that there will be pressure on the market today. But FWIW, I thought I'd pass that tidbit along. By the way, that stat was valid a couple of years ago so I assume it is still valid today. -- Pete
