Hey, as long as I am on a rant how about I put some info on one of my favorite (you know this is NOT true) stocks...it's name: MICROSOFT!

Yes siree! Here is a company that we all know and love. And despite what you have heard, their products are simply the best on the market. That's why everybody uses them, you know. Now there are other fine companies out there that you could invest in, but the problem is uncertainty...what will the market be like next year? Interest rates? Who knows. That is why the certainty that MSFT provides is worth the premium you pay. MSFT is unburdened by lawsuits and the such, providing a future well worth the multiple! And the monopoly MSFT has had in the past is sure to continue in the future. Don't let headlines such as "Over the next 5 years Linux will grow faster than all other operating systems combined" confuse you. And if this piddly little Linux thing ever truly becomes a threat, MSFT can always just buy them out! Besides, there are no plans to bring Linux to the desktop anyway.

And if there ever were to be a threat from competition, MSFT wouldn't need to worry, since they continue to support their products with excellent 1-800 number tech support. And their patches, such as Win 98 service release 2 should only run the Win 98 user about $20. That's one affordable patch!

Yes, with all of these things going for them, it is no wonder that MSFT has been hitting new highs! But the best thing is that it really isn't hitting new highs! I have seen MSFT trade over $100 before! That means that it is a real bargain now! Sure, I know it split, but as we all know, a split is an economic event, and thus the new shares are truly only half the cost of the old ones! (too bad for those folks who held through the split...BIG loss for those guys). Overall, MSFT is a cheap stock. The company itself is still short of being valued at a HALF A TRILLION DOLLARS, so I see a lot of upside what with their clearly defined future. And don't forget that as the price of PC's rise, the cost of the OS will become a less significant and less noticeable part of the total system cost!

Viva MSFT!

--------

Too bad my hatred for this company has kept me from owning it...I could live with the hate, provided the rate of return is of Microsoftian proportions...

Good positive movement, good volume.

Whats going on, are they just about to release some
product? Maybe they produced drivers that bury the
compitition. Are they starting to advertise or something?

Nope, can't be any of those things, that would make to much sense
which we know doesn't happen with this stock. Guess we'll
just have to wait and see what the real news is.
