From today's WSJ (sorry if it's already been posted):

Just how competitive is it? When Bid.com, an online auction company,
brought together its senior management team for an all-day meeting Monday, the company knew it had to beware of secret-stealing interlopers. But it didn't think it would find them in the women's rest room.

One of the three security guards Bid.com hired for the meeting saw a man dash into a lavatory at the Toronto airport hotel. After a few moments, the security guard followed him and caught the snoop with his ear against the wall. The powder room was adjacent to the meeting room where Bid.com brass were discussing the company's business strategy. Most importantly, Bid.com was making the final plans on an important patent it was awarded this week. The identity of the man remains unknown. The security guard threw him out of the hotel but didn't call the police. "We're not sure if he was just a pervert or was after something," says Paul Dodin, Bid.com's chairman and chief executive officer.
