All companies say these kinds of things to protect themselves. Even Intel and MSFT say that the stock price can be affected by competition and there are no assurances to their continued growth.

The biggest problem now is to get a new 'respected' leader in place. I don't think Del would just go quit on his own. He had to have been forced out which I think is a positive in itself.
