LMT is a good opportunity here.
They have their hand in the manufacturing in the Stelth fighters
Defense spending increases is virtually guaranteed. I also like BA
but they are having problems on the commercial side with rudder failures and intense competition in the commercial aircraft business.
LMT is the better of the two.

Since the start of the war the stock has done nothing but drop so don't get your hope up because your pres, along with the republicans want a weak national defense and a strong U.N. Where have all those military bases gone. Vacant like the heads of lmt management

Morgan Stanley reiterates Strong Buy on LMT. Excerpts:
-1Q results to be reported on either April 20 or 21
-MS believes LMT will not disappoint this quarter as it is likely that management factored "several layers of conservatism" in its 1Q guidance.
-LMT has meet its 1Q projections for C-130 deliveries, Atlas launches and the low end of guidance for Proton launches
-1Q should clearly be the company's weakest quarter for 1999.
-2Q EPS should ramp up steeply.
IMO this report should provide some strong positive momentum.
