Any invasion of Serbia will put us inthe position of trying to determine for another country how they should handle their internal affairs. That is not our purpose in the world.

I heard that we're now claiming that the Serbs have no right to hold the captured US soldiers since their not POWs because the US isn't at war with Serbia, NATO is. This makes them "abducted soldiers". That sure sounds like Clinton double-speak to me.

Of course, using this logic the last "war" the US was involved in was World War II.

Paul, OTOTOTOTOT >>>Any invasion of Serbia will put us inthe position of trying to determine for another country how they should handle their internal affairs.<<<

If your next door neighbor is slaughtering his family members (who are unarmed) and you have a chance to save their lives by using deadly force - would you do it?

Same question, knowing what you know now, would you use deadly force to stop Adolph Hitler in Munich in the early 1930's?

These are highly philosohical questions and I understand why we can't allow everyone or anyone to decide how and when to use deadly force. However, there are very few cases in modern history where evil is so self evident.

The idea of letting someone get away with anything resembling "Ethnic Cleansing" makes me sick.
