Scumbria: Who's lining up to purchase AMD? My first choice is Compaq. Now there's a Fright Night, Friday the Thirteenth, Nightmare on Elm Street Halloween Hockey Mask visitation for Compaq stockholders. First DEC, then Tandem, and now AMD! CPQ stock price would go negative! And don't think the subject hasn't come up over on SI Compaq, with the frightening shiver reaction described above. AMD is laying off top notch computer people. What does that say? Tony
