One of the reasons that I just bought several thousand shares of NAVR is that it is not marginable at several of the US brokerage houses. I don't know if this is true at all houses, but this means that many, if not most, US shorters can't short this stock.

As far as the SEC looking unkindly at the actions of the shorters, professional shorters do far more DD than the average investor. They also don't fall in love with a stock and are are more professional with their buying and selling than most. Wade Cook does not recommend shorting, but he does recommends finding a financial advisor that makes over a $100,000 per year to follow. A @ P definately falls into this category.

The SEC seems to be more concerned with boiler room pumpers and dumpsters than with short selling. For instance the saga of Tokyo Mex... He is a pumper and a real pro and inflating stock prices.

<<...If he had been truly smart, he would have waited for a more substantial IPO rise from DBCC, which was very attainable, if he hadn't started his shorting campaign prematurely >>

Yep, you're basically right. However, his advise was to start with a small short to get in and average up. I don't think that he hurt the top price too much because of this.

<<I don't think Anthony is as smart as you seem to feel he is..>>
Let's hope not. If he calls a short too soon and a bunch of his lemmings follow in the middle of a strong run, the result will be a slingshot effect.
