I think the drop today is due to two factors: First, the announcement by NOV, which causes ignorant holders of NCES to sell shares. Second, a little profit-taking from yesterday's 25% jump. The fact that the volume is low today suggests to me that the run-up was for real. Of course, I'm a believer in the MM conspiracy theory, that they are manipulating the stock on occasion.

I like that word...decoupling...I hadn't taken a peak @ NOV's 5 day chart yet today to see, but what I do see, I also view as bullish.

I rarely subscribe to manipulation & Evil MM theories myself. I think it's a weak excuse for a bad strategy. However, the action you described indicated a good deal of MM support yesterday. They've apparently spent the day in church today, for Holy Thursday or something. Let's hope their righteousness returns to the floor before the bell...:o)
