Not to be a drag... But no way am I going to Vegas for a Friday and Saturday night in late June. Too hot. Way too overpriced on weekends. Way too crowded. Sun through Thurs OK but not a weekend. Plus, it's a one-note town. I still vote Party in LA then road-trip to Vegas (I'll even drive...flights cost much more to Vegas in June). JMHO. :-)

Hi Jack... Austin in July?? That is when the whole town is trying to decide whether it will be Colorado or Cloudcroft for the next month or so, if they haven't already left!!! <ggg> Guadalupe is great, but not enough water to make up for the heat... Austin is best enjoyed fall or spring, IMO!! BTW, you forgot about the margaritas!!! I can't go to Vegas in May, but it sounds like fun!! You all will have a blast! Hope to meet up with all of you sometime, somewhere!! Kathy :)
