Steve:OT I do not understand why, when folks don't fully agree with you, you resort to ad hominem attacks--as in, being "apologetic" for Mr. Hirsch. Frankly, I have dealt personally with my share of CEOs and influential business leaders or deals players, including folks who run some of our largest corporations or who are among the wealthiest people in America. I and my partners have represented them on matters totalling hundreds of billions of dollars. I have spoken personally with Mr. Hirsch on several occasions. I simply do not share your view of him. That does not make me, or anyone else naive. Moreover, there was a time when I shared your view that a great man knows everything and feels nothing. I have found that view limiting in the last decade, including in matters of the market. The markets are inherently irrational, including decisionmakers driven by emotion. It might be helpful for some to be aware of the depth of that emotion. Regards.
