Greg:
Haven't worked on recent Ford. One suggestion.. if the drums are worn it may have created a lip and you will have to back off the adjustments so the brake circle is smaller. (assuming you have drums rather than disks)
Will try to get other ideas

Greg,
OT, You've got to be kidding! Maybe you save 75-100 bucks but think about the time you invest. If I were to attempt a brake job on my 99 F150, it would probably take me all day. But, if you are dead set on doing it yourself, then check out the ford truck owners web site. Alta Vista should provide an address. They have info on just about anything for the home mechanic. Good luck and Dell to $50, please.

OFF TOPIC: $#^*^#* Stuck brake drums

I ran this one past The Commander, for advice.

Where are they stuck -- the big hole in the centre where the axle sticks through, around the wheel studs, or are the shoes keeping it on?

The big hole: Try heating with a torch.

Shoes holding: Try loosening them through rear 'adjustment hole'.

Studs rusted: I don't know 'exactly' how to approach this, but I'd try hitting it with a hammer. It may not help, but you'll feel better, provided you don't break something expensive.

Hope the rest of your Easter weekend goes better, PW.
