Ya know, Sun...I heard the same thing...multi-billion dollar deal...Dell...capacity constraints...yup...perhaps someone from TDFX would like to comment ;)

As for the fiscal year thing, I don't know what went into the decision, but I do smell something...Imagine it would go like this:
"here is our projection for the quarter. This is what it looks like if the fiscal year ends in Dec, Q ending march..."
"ouch!"
"This is what it looks like if we bump it to April..."
"Let's do April"

Sure they had to pick one or the other...but there was probably a good reason for the decision they made...and I wouldn't be surprised if it is bad news for us, at least in the short term.
