I am not familiar with that book. I would suggest you send a private message to Richard Estes on SI and ask his opinion. If there is a book on TA written in the past 20 years he has read it and reviewed it. Great guy and very sharp, I'm sure he could help you.

P.S He also likes Murphy's book
