Situation interesting, myz.

YHOO/BCST deal has been announced not as an "agreement in principle" (which would suggest plenty of "wiggle room"), but as a "definitive agreement" (which does not). Thus, it's unlikely that anything would come along to change the outcome. "Unlikely" is not "impossible," however. We don't have access to the contractual terms, so we're not in much of a position to speculate about circumstances, if any, under which the deal could still change. The Street's assuming the deal's done, and we should, too.

Two things are clear: The Street loves this combo and the shadow of LCOS has lifted. Conference call with analysts a lovefest. BCST stock will now track with YHOO and the discount should be modest. Deal to close in third quarter, maybe as early as July.
