The MDIN people say it is because shorts have shorted the stock to the max and not because insiders or large shareholders are selling.

This is not a statement of fact, just an observation: if you were an MDIN insider selling into the buying, what would you tell an outsider? The short story doesn't make a whole lot of sense, since this is a BB stock and I seriously doubt most players here are from outside the US. Take a look at the 6-month chart with the volume by price overlay: isn't it interesting that the volume purchased for less than 1/8 is similar to the volume purchased (ie SOLD!) around 5/16?

Normal rules don't apply to OTC/BB. Shoot, they barely apply to stocks that are fully reporting and trade in huge volumes and are bought by enormous institutional investors. This stuff is all Caveat Empor, and don't count on the SEC riding to the rescue or cleaning it up. They simply don't have the resources.

To be 100% clear, I have no position in MDIN, and what I said above is pure conjecture and meant to illustrate a point not meant to be a comment specific to MDIN. For all I know MDIN is an excellent company with an excellent future.
