WLD, the "short theory" is that MMs are selling shares they don't own, not that investors are selling short. In fact, if you ask MDIN management, they'll give you the name of one MM in particular.

Anyway, this may all be academic soon... check out latest entries on MDIN thread, and don't bother calling MDIN management today, 'cause they're not home!

Yes I find that hard to believe too. The Canadians would have to have some serious bucks to short that much. I also can't believe that any group of Canadians would be that stupid.
