TOUT-FEST ALERT: CIBC Oppenheimer Semiconductor and Electronics Conference Tue/Wed April 6-7. Dunno if/when MU is scheduled. As always, these are designed to be short-killers! This would help to explain the mark-up yd and today (and maybe some more on Monday?).

The big tout-fest schedule is always at

Next tout-fest after that is H&Q Technology Conference Apr 26-29, that will be a biggie.

Low volume today could be due to the Easter weekend coming up. No stock trading tomorrow, BTW.

Really. I looked at it on the way out the door and it was 1.5 million shares then. It stopped. Atmel, who usually has < 2 million shares trading had almost 3 and as much of a gain, in dollars -- larger %, than MU
