Wow, Jim. Germanysthebest is really taking a big chance posting that. There are documented cases where companies have filed law suits for libel when people post false and potentially damaging material on Internet bulletin boards. Germanysthebest has definitely crossed the line posing as Reuters. I hope somebody goes after him. That guy has been a pain in everyone's side on the Yahoo board for quite some time. People should not be allowed to hide behind an alias and post that kind of nonsense.

Dan

I echo Dan's comments. When Germany.... was posting drivel a few months ago and creating dialogs with multiple personalities it was irritating - but relatively transparent. It was what it was. Yahoo is free to all comers and attracts a number of people, some of who are perhaps a little less experienced (this is a generalization, folks! No flames, please!) than one would hope.

IF this posting caused even only one individual to panic and lose money, it is my feeling that good old Germany should be hung out to dry. Unfortunately, I suspect that this guy's sense of morality is probably similar to the clown who wrote the Melissa virus. Ooops! Just havin' a little fun! Can't take a joke? Too bad for you!

This post which follows on the Yahoo board: messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

Also.. a little too far off in my opinion, but not quite so much.

Hmmmm.... (Are we being too hard on good old Germany? Maybe? Nah....)
