victor,
It might have been a good day to buy. I thought about it. I'm 1,000 shares short of my target ownership. However, I have sold too many puts to reduce liquidity right now. I have created my own Catch 22. If Compaq goes up, I make money on the puts. If it sets still or drops, I have shares put to me at a decent price. I'm really on the fense right now.

To buy or not to buy is the question. Too bad it rained today. I would have avoided the question by retreating to the golf course.

We will see what Monday brings.

Victor fill me in on something. I own CPQ for about 17 months and I'm up about $1.00. Okay I could have been up 30,40 or 50% but that's water under the bridge. I'm looking for reasons to own this stock now and all I can come up with is that it's cheap, but I'm not even sure about that. Tell me why it's a good thing to own CPQ. I watch other techs like CSCO, INTC, EMC, SUNW, MSFT,and the internet wonders all growing, and they continue to do so.Tell me please where CPQ's going. Enlighten me on the virtues of this company. Thanks
