EchoStar, American Digital Communications, Inc. Launch TrackPower Horse Racing Service

LITTLETON, Colo., April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- American Digital Communications Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ADCM) and EchoStar Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: DISH, DISHP) announced today the national launch of TrackPower, a subscription based horse racing video service. ADCM has contracted with Skynet Direct to offer it's TrackPower service as a niche-programming package on SkyVista(TM), EchoStar's recently launched direct-to-home (DTH) satellite television service. TrackPower is a direct-to-home simulcasting service providing live horse racing video to paying subscribers throughout North America.

TrackPower distributes its horse racing programming to targeted audiences throughout the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. The programming can be received through a 90-cm dish, using a SkyVista set-top box and access card.

The TrackPower service is offered at the customers' choice of either 19.99 per month or for a discounted yearly rate of 150.00 (limited time offer). EchoStar's SkyVista DTH service includes over 20 channels of the "Best of Satellite" package for an additional 19.99 per month. The package includes five broadcast network signals, one premium channel of HBO, and one adult channel of Extasy, as well as foreign and niche programming, such as Arab Choice, for additional monthly charges.

SkyVista offers customers a complete satellite system for a suggested retail price of 399, which includes a 90-cm dish antenna and a single low-noise block converter with integrated feed (LNBF). EchoStar distributes the new DTH service and hardware through its existing North American network of over 17,000 hometown dealers.
