I thought it was a joke, too, because I couldn't get it to work all day until I realized I was on my Silicon Graphics workstation at work. Apparently it doesn't work with SGIs yet. So,I set it up in the PC lab and had no problems (except a public lab is not the best place to use it, everyone wanted to try it). I'm at a navy.mil address and it works great. I see possibilities to use this to communicate with our boys in the Adriatic.
