>>>>>"Did they say the Sun would burn out in 3 billion years or 3 million years?"

The rep answered, "Three billion years."

The girl showed relief and answered, "Oh, good."<<<<<<<<<<

I hope she found her way to Wall Street. She deserves proper compensation for taking such a long term view.

Well, thanks for that Sun tidbit, the kid obviously was concerned for the dinosaurs who would be ok as long as the sun lasts another few million years - LOL ... but you missed the internet urban legend I was alluding to. A Chicago columnist wrote a piece around June of last year which was directed at the graduating class and started with "Above all... wear sunscreen". It was a pretty interesting speech and ended up being reproduced all over the internet and credited to Vonnegut as his MIT commencement speech - totally untrue and news to Vonnegut apparently. An alternative rock group has just set the speech to music and its a mild hit (according to NPR).
