Hi Maurice,

Long time, no type. As usual, I'm saying "But..." What worries me about youe post is that much of Iridium's costs are already sunk. If they can't recoup their costs, they might be a more fearsome competitor than otherwise.

If IRidium decide their investment is lost, stop producing phones, and shut up shop, that is great for Globalstar. On the otherhand, if they decide thei investement is lost, but they can reduce their overall lost by selling phones and selling time, then they could conceivably reduce prices to an unbearable level. That is they could reduce the price of phones to cost of production, and sell time for the (very low) cost of running the ground-stations.

On the third hand (I'm multi-dextrous) Iridium's still a long way from that. I continue to hold. Qcom has been fun recently hasn't it?
