I was an architect in enterprise software applications such as psft, itwo, etc. I actually focussed on the logistics area which is the very tail of the supply chain in mfg.... my industry kind of fell apart... and when you have a high level engineering spot as a designer it isn't that easy to transition into something else. I decided I didn't want to start in another technical area so I retired, but if this were 4 years ago I certainly would be working as a key employee in an enterprise software startup. I thought I would enjoy retirement but I'm actually bored which is why I sit on the internet all day and bother people.

<<<To be honest, I am netting better $$ by trading than my salary currently.>>>

I had planned to go back to work in Jan. Why do you think I'm not in a hurry ?
