Hi Mark!

first time in Vegas

I hope you have a week! Vegas is awesome! My oldest is out there this week for spring break. She called today and said she was going to an "Oxygen Bar" tonight. Hummm...perhaps I should call MarkC and check into this! New one for me, and I thought I was "acquainted" with all types of bars! She is doing indoor parachuting tomorrow and went to some kind of cheese cake place yesterday. Pigged out on it she said. Hummm...don't know how that place slipped by me unnoticed!

Hoover Dam is a must see for the first time Vegas visitors. I have been twice and loved it. Watch the movie on how they built it. Mind boggling. Of course, being in concrete construction ourselves, it would be! <g>
edited: just realized that is what you meant by the "damn tour"! LOL)

I have stayed a night at the MGM Grand, as well as many others. They are all very nice. Haven't stayed at Mandalay Bay yet. Hey, you can hit all the places this time, then when the DGIV'ers go back, you will know where you want to stay! <g>

Anyway, Vegas is an exciting place. Now that my daughter has spent a week there with locals, I'll know what all to do next time I go, IF I can keep schweetie well!

Anyway, I guess we have a month to make suggestions!

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!

E!

You'll have a great time at the MGM Grand. I saw the 2 1/2 Tops there, in February. They used to be the 4 Tops, but one died, and the lead singer was sick, but trying.

It doesn't matter where you stay... the action is not "in" your hotel room (unless you get lucky!) it's Out and About! So many things to see and do, so little time to do them.

Hey, do you want to drive one of Richard Petty's Pontiacs at the Las Vegas Speedway? There is a half day driving school that is loads of fun.... And there are a million things to do at night.

I think Shelia and I are going to put together an agenda for any of the SI'ers that want to participate in "group" activities....

I hope to see you there. This is my last day at home base, before Vegas... because I think I have work and fun lined up every day between now and Vegas.... I'll go around the world twice... I hope they don't spread the war to the side of the Alps that I'm on.

CYA there!

Jack
