MIchael: I don't even know where to start by answering your post to me. You miss understand me to much.....
Guess I will go line by line:

< " In, such a long message and it's all about HNV, or it's all about Doug? Whos AGO we are talking about? " >

I guess I find it very silly to waste GOOD ( Notice I said " Good " ) TA on such a BAD stock as HNV.
I know, I know.... Hind sight is 50/50..... :)
Just pointing out, that JUST BECAUSE TA says so, does NOT mean it is so... ( Re Read that line a few times and click your heals three times. lol )

I KNOW how GOOD Doug's TA can be! Beleive me, I KNOW!
I just think he is wasting his talent with ...... scans, picks, etc...
ANYONE can point out 20 stocks that have potiential, and be correct on a few. Even stupid ME could do that!!
Takes Talent to come up with just a few per week, that are REAL WINNERS!
Doug CAN DO THAT! but.......... lost his way somehow. IMO

Not sure that answered you, but I got that off my chest anyway...

<<No Month long wait for a 4% gain, or loss...>>
<< The majority of this thread bought in at 2 3/16 - 2 5/16 and sold at 3 and the rest sold yesterday at 2 13/16 I hope. >>

I am not so sure that is true. I beleive it was a PICK at OVER $3 a few months ago. Think back... I remember Buys at over 3 and under 3.
If anyone got in at 2 3/16 and out at 3, they are VERY VERY Lucky. Probably more likely the other way around..
IF a person can watch a stock THAT close to get the High and the Low, they are Daytrading and shoud not be wasting their time on 1/4 - 1/2 moves spread out over a month.

MZON, which I mentioned to you yesterday, dropped ( Shorted the stock )over 12% today. If you had shorted at the High and covered at the Low, the gain would be more like 20%, In ONE DAY.
THAT!! Is where REAL Good TA would pay off!! Not this 2% up, 3% down, 4% up, etc... stuff...

You shorted HNV??? WOW! You have an off shore account??

< " Trying to show that Doug is a bad picker?" >
I do not beleive I ever said that! I know that Doug's TA CAN be very good. His picks leave MUCH to be desired though...
You want to see the StockDog Portfolios? YIKS!!
The 56 Portfolio? Double Yiks!..
Ok, there are a few winners in there, but once again, throw enough darts and something is bound to stick.

<<Seems to me, all that's going on, is some of you are helping to Hold Up the price so others can Sell. >>
I stand by that statement. Unless you can go long and short on it, and play the Rolling Stock bit, it's a waste of time. IMO

<<" I remember you dreams to manage somebody's account. With this kind of posts you scare away all your potential customers." >>
You have me confussed with someone else. I have no customers. I have a following, just as many others on SI have followers. No customers in any way , shape, or form.
Doug manages his wifes, mothers, etc.. accounts. Maybe that is what you are thinking of, otherwise I do not know what you are talking about there.

When TA is used alone by itself, I usually see few gains. Sure, I could buy 20 stocks and have a few winners in there, also a few losers..the trick is seperating the garbage from the grunt.

If I asked Doug to do a REAL TA of a stock, he probably would be very close to correct on picking it's movements. If Doug were to pick a HOT stock that he feels is going up big, soon. forget it.....
Anyone can pick small movers in a Bull Market.

I am tired.... Hope some of this made some sence. Been a long night...

Good Luck

Instock

BTW: MZON will drop more on Monday. Tuesday? not as sure. TA or not.

Michael: Thought of something that I have not mentioned till now. You might like this. Even Doug might find some interest....

Have you ever noticed how often Doug's picks get mentioned in Business Week? ( By the way, My favorite magazine to Short ANYTHING they like. Not meaning that the way it sounds, just works out that way. )
Maybe one every few months, sometime a bit more often, sometimes a bit less.
Follow me here:
What are the odds that ONE Person could, on average, have a stock pick that gets mentioned in BW mag. , every few months?
By mention, I mean " Inside Wall Street " section.
They have three picks a week, 12 a month, 36 every 3 months, and THOUSANDS upon Thousands of stocks to pool from!
1 out of every 36 ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
That is pretty darn good!! Much better then Tarts! I think.....< gg >
But Wait!
Doug probably likes, and makes known he likes, at least a couple hundred stocks in 3 months time.
Say 200...
Still, thats pretty good geven the number of stocks to choice from.
Also, when I say pick, I mean, Doug has named a stock as a good buy and within 2 weeks Business Week mentions the stock.
( I still wish I could have short sold HNV when BW mentioned the stock right after Doug named it a buy, all those buyers eager to sell! lol )

Test:
What does the above really mean?

Instock

BTW:
Did I happen to mention to you mid day yesterday that MZON would be a good short sell? No one month wait. No 2 % gainer....
Down 12.5% today. Even better had you shorted yesterday OR caught the near high and lows today, then more like 20% loss ( Gain )
Hint: Has something to do with the above.

And you said I was not being nice. So there! ( toung out ) I was being Nice. lol

Michael,

"We all here understand what does technical target mean."

Just in case there are some out there that don't understand...A TECHNICAL TARGET IS SOMETHING PROVIDED BY THE CHART>>>NOT ME. THE PROBABILITY THAT THE TARGET WILL BE REACHED IS SEEN IN THE CURRENT STRENGTH OF THE TA.

The possibility of failure to reach a technical target ALWAYS goes hand in hand with the establishment of a technical target. The rules to recognize possible, probable or certain failure to reach a technical target BEFORE a loss is realized are well spelled out on this thread. I take special care at my seminar to handle that aspect FIRST. It's the most important part of TA, charting and FA. Within each zeitgeist there is a systematic approach. To say, "This stock (or that stock) is going to go up (or down)" is nonsense unless a systematic approach is taken. It seems Instock wants to scream that a stock will do one thing or another then exit into anyone's buying or selling. No system, no desire to inform anyone...just greed. That's wrong. Flat out wrong. Next post by him will likely include a mention (again...yawn) of the stock he's currently short. Anyone that shorts it from here will only help him profit at their own expense.

Maybe Instock will actually read this statement of yours...I KNOW it to be true: "I got this pick from Doug in the mid of December and from that time it was a money printing machine."
HNV is an emminently tradable stock. It blew its shot at the target set up by the chart and as it did so, made it loud and clear that it wasn't going there. It clearly followed all the trading rules that I outline. Anyone that missed the signals, wasn't paying attention. Many people asked me in PMs what was going on and I explained it to them. I'm sure every seminar attendee that paid attention saw it on their own. Sheesh...one stock that has for the most part been traded successfully by so many and Instock blew it...then wants to whine about his own mistake...just...sheesh. If anything, Instock has shown that he has a problem paying attention, is a poor trader...or both. His assertion that Basil did no buying in December is also flat out wrong.

So, what issues are you currently looking at?
